JCFSC New Membership Categories
Many questions have come up about the new categories. We have provided some information below to help answer some questions. If you have any other questions, please do not hestitate to ask!

Senior Membership |
This membership type is for Members age 18 and older who are out of high school and wish to hold a full membership in JCFSC. Privileges for senior members include make motions, vote, serve on the board, nominate, and skate. Senior members can not try out for a feature spot in the annual ice show. (This membership is for adult skaters and board members.) |

Junior Membership |
This membership type is for Members under the age of 18 (also including high school skaters who are 18 years of age) and wish to hold a full membership in JCFSC. Privileges for the parents of junior members include: make motions, vote, serve on the board, and nominate. Junior members hold the privilege of skating and trying out for a feature spot in the annual ice show (if criteria is met for eligibility). (This membership includes all basic skills, freeskate, special needs and graduate skaters) |

Associate Membership |
This membership type is for Members who hold a valid USFS Membership through a club other than JCFSC. Privileges include skating and participating in the annual ice show. Associate members can not make motions, vote, serve on the board, or nominate. Associate members can not try out for a feature spot in the annual ice show or represent JCFSC in USFS events. (This membership includes skaters who test at our rink for a discount, or who want to participate in JCFSC activities but hold full membership through another club) |

Collegiate Membership |
This membership type is for Members who are college students attending school in the area and former club members who are students at distant schools and colleges during the school year. Collegiate members hold the privilege of skating. Collegiate members can not make motions, vote, serve on board, nominate, or try out for a feature spot in the annual ice show. (This membership would include any skaters going to college in the area as well as former members who want to skate during times they are home from college such as holidays.) Must be a college student! |

Professional Membership |
This membership type is for Members who are presently coaches, basic skills instructors, judges, or other professionals of figure skating who wish to hold a membership in JCFSC. Professionals can not make motions, vote, serve on the board, nominate, or try out for a feature spot in the annual ice show. (This would include our staff coaches and any outside coaches who wish to give private lessons on JCFSC ice) |
