Free Skate UnRestricted
Skaters may NOT enter both a Restricted and Unrestricted event. Competitors will skate to music of their choice. A 0.1 to .5 deduction WILL be made for skaters including elements not permitted in the event description. Jump rotation counts will be as set forth by the US Figure Skating Rule book list of jumps and the current ISI Test Standards for Free Skate. Beginner events are limited to the elements listed and those from lower levels, except where specifically stated. In the Unrestricted Freeskate events, skaters are allowed more freedom to include moves than those in the Restricted events but are required to comply with the “Well Balanced Program” requirements as outlined in the current US Figure Skating Rule Book in SSR 4.00-4.19.
Male and Female skaters will compete in separate events, no exceptions.
Please note that placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in Tots events will qualify the skater for Compulsory Events at State Games of America in 2009.
